WHO WE ARE
Like many other Slavic immigrants, our community came to Spokane from different parts of the former Soviet Union in search of a better life. We love this city, but it saddens us to see it facing growing issues: rising crime, homelessness, a drug epidemic, increasing taxes, and the pressure our children face in schools. This is no longer the Spokane that once welcomed us. Unfortunately, more and more people are moving to other states like Florida and South Carolina in search of a better life. That's why we created "Slavic Voice," so our community can be heard.
To see change, we have to act—faith alone isn't enough. One effective way to make a difference is by electing city leaders who represent our values and share our vision for Spokane. That's why I started "Slavic Voice".
Spokane has a significant Slavic population capable of influencing local elections, yet we remain a silent majority. We need to change this.
